Desktop Transformation Consultant (App-V / End User Computing / Windows 7)
(App-V/End User Computing/Windows 7/Windows 8/Desktop Transformation) The UK's leading Infrastructure transformation Organisation is looking for a Desktop Transformation Consultant who has strong experience in End User Computing, App-V and Transformation experience with Windows 7 and Windows 8. Although their HQ is based in Reading, you will spend 85% of your time on site with customers in the Thames Valley and West London areas. This position will see you lead full desktop transformation projects for medium to large enterprise customers. You will be leading the design; implementation, documentation and acting as a last point of call for critical escalated issues. Experience Required: - Has experience working at a Consultant or Architect level in Desktop Transformation. - Has a good understanding and experience of how to scope new designs. - Strong documentation skills and excellent customer facing abilities. - Has experience of working with different level of technical staff from senior to junior. - Recent experience in a Desktop Transformation with Windows 7 or Windows 8 (Windows 10 would be beneficial but not essential). - Experienced in End User Computing. - Confident in your technical ability with App-V. - Self-motivated personality, who is able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks. - Excellent written verbal and communication skills - Must have a valid driving licence. - To be based in the Reading, Thames Valley or West London area(will consider re-locators from EU) This is an exciting opportunity for a Desktop Transformation Consultant to join an award winning team, whilst getting your hands dirty in greenfield projects in large enterprise environments.
